Magical luxury camp stay
The camp is beautifully laid out and positioned right next to the sand dunes for easy access to see the sunset and sunrise; both a must do experience. The facilities are all super; the camp uses solar power so there’s electricity in every tent and an en suite with a fantastic hot water shower. The staff were super friendly and attentive and we loved spending time with them in the evening by the camp fire playing music, chatting with them other guests and looking at the amazing night sky. it was easy to book activities or to just grab a sand board and give that a go! We stayed for 2 nights and did a private tour of the desert which was fab, as well as a camel ride to watch the sunset. We were also happy that there weren’t other camps close by - we could enjoy watching the sun rise in a private setting. Thank you for the staff for going the extra mile to make our engagement in the desert extra special!

What was the highlight of Dihya desert camp
Glamping at its Best in the Sahara Desert
My stay here at Dihya Desert Camp was definitely the highlight of my first trip to Morocco. My group and I stayed 2 nights and I wish I stayed the whole week. We arrived at nightfall and were welcomed with an enchanting walkway of "red carpet" flanked by Moroccan lanterns. Everything was thoughtfully and elegantly decorated from the fire pit to the pouf cushions and refreshment table set up with (you guessed it) Moroccan mint tea! Since our large group took over the camp, we could freely select our tent. My friend and I chose the tent at the end nearer to the desert for peace and quiet. There is a large bed that could easily sleep 3 and a twin bed. Mattress and bedding were clean, comfortable, warm and inviting. All the bathroom conveniences of toilet, shower, soap, shampoo, and sink are provided. From our tent, we can see out the "window" to the dunes and the sunrise in case you didn't want to get out of bed. The dunes are obviously iconic and picturesque. To lie in the soft sand at night when all is quiet and look up at the star-filled sky is truly an amazing experience. My group and I visited at the perfect time of year because weather was temperate during the day and cool at night. Hiking the dunes, riding camels at sunset or sunrise and general frolicking in the sand are de rigueur for the complete desert experience Service was excellent all around. Staff was ever present and willing to provide whatever was needed to make our stay comfortable. Daily housekeeping was a welcome gesture. We were served a variety of typical Moroccan dishes at our breakfast and dinner buffets. Food was colorful, delicious, and healthy. One of our friends celebrated a birthday and the staff went above and beyond to provide a special cake along with singing, chanting and good cheer. After dinner each night we continued the fun with drumming, socializing, listening to traditional Berber music, and even dancing.

Sahara desert experience
Venturing to the Saharan with Dihya Desert Camp for our honeymoon trip was adventurous, romantic, and surreal! Everything from the moment we got picked up (we booked private transportation with this Camp too) by our friendly, easy-going, and knowledge driver Mbarek (he’s amazing and smart), to the last minute of this incredible adventure was beyond our wildest dreams. The radical change of landscapes road tripping to the desert, the food, but especially the friendly and wonderful people that work for the camp, made this whole experience truly unforgettable. We adventured on the 3-night/4-day package and we're SO glad we did because we really got to soak up every moment to the fullest without feeling rushed. Every part of the itinerary dihya desert camp proposed worked our perfectly. The camp staff were very responsive and communicative since the very first moment I contact them. Our driver Mbarek was very communicative at all times and keep us updated on our next stop, plan for the day, etc. We felt taken care of without feeling smothered! Once we got to the camp, Said welcomed us with the sweetest smile and huuuug!! We love him and would love to see him again when we go back to Morocco. The tents are truly luxurious... bathroom with running water and showers, huge beds with a heating system in case it gets too cold at night, chargers, etc. Regarding food... our taste buds were blown away by the meals prepared by the camp’s chef, You’re in for a treat if he’s cooking during your stay. Though I’m certain whoever the local chef is during your stay, will make you appreciate the simplicity of their meals while tasting the richness of flavors encapsulated in the fresh, organic ingredients they cook with. Food is truly delicious!!! Later we’re still talking about how profound and surreal of an experience this was! Highly recommend traveling with Dihya Desert Camp.
